Oh, Happy Day

We are living in very unpredictable times, and many people are struggling to find something of value in their lives. Life moves fast, and sometimes we never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory. But your value doesn’t decrease based on someone’s ability to see your worth. Happiness does not come to you, it only comes from you. So, If you’re searching for paradise, understand that it’s never been about places, it’s about moments.

If you’re waiting on the world to change, give you validation or make you happy, then I can assure you that’s going to be the best way to keep you unhappy. Happiness is a choice, not a result. Happiness starts with you, not your spouse, not your job, and not your money—happiness is an inside job, and that responsibility lies solely with you! And when you realize this, it’s going to take some honest self-reflection to admit that YOU are the only one holding YOU back.

Complaining about problems without offering solutions is called whining! And constantly bitching and moaning about where you’re at or what someone has that you don’t have doesn’t solve problems, it attracts them. Complaining is like a virus, it spreads inside you until you begin to infect others with your problems and negativity. Your attitude will make you the disease or make you the cure. Attitude is infectious, so that same attitude will make people smile or cause them to drink!

Light owes its beauty to the existence of the dark. And because we all have seen the dark, we have learned to appreciate the light. Our darkness is God’s way of giving us the opportunity to shine. So, when that opportunity arises, if you’re not going to be lighting any candles, don’t keep complaining about being in the dark. God will never burden us with problems we can’t bear, and he’s already given us more than we deserve. So, when the darkness falls upon you, instead of complaining, take it as a compliment that He has the confidence that you can handle it! The hardest battles reveal His strongest soldiers!
